Dry Bones

Dry bones lying in a pile

Broken, rejected, and forgotten.

Forgotten by everyone

Everyone but the One who created them.

I heard a voice

Can these dry bones live?

Yes Lord, these dry bones can live.

These bones?

Forgotten, alone, and abused?

Yes Lord!

These very bones,

Forgotten, alone, and abused

Are an army waiting to be unleashed.

Behold I heard a sound

The sound, a mix of two things.

A train moving fast and straight forward.

A train not pausing or stopping.

This was the first.

The second sound joined and mixed in.

Mixed in until the two were indistinguishable.

The second sound was that of dry bones.

These dry bones were rattling and waiting.

Waiting for the Word of the remnant.

This is the word of the remnant.

Yes Lord, these dry bones shall live!

Attach the tendons

Form flesh on their bones

Breathe life into these bodies

And let the army arise!

This army is one that holds back for no one.

This army steadily moves forward and never stops.

The world will not stop or sway this army. The devil himself cannot stop this army.

Make your decision now.

Are you on this train moving forward?

Will you say “yes Lord breathe life into this army?”

Will you move forward or will you stay put?

Behold there is quickly coming a time when stagnant Christians are a thing of the past. You will be either hot or cold. You will be on the freight train, or you will be run over by it. You must make the decision to live for the Lord and be in this army. You may lose your life for being part of it. Is that a chance you are willing to make? Or does your life mean too much to you? The cares of this world the only existence you want?

The choice is yours,

But make it fast!

This move…starts soon.

You see dry bones…

I see an army.

An army prepared for battle.

An army standing strong and tall.

An army sure of its cause,

And not afraid to lose its life for that cause.

Selah!
